So I've noticed there's a few gun nuts in the clan, Post em if you've got em.
I'll start off with my new build.

NEA (Canadian Made) AR-15 (5.56 NATO)
Just got this one last week after selling my previous AR. These NEA-15's are relatively new on the market - only coming into production less than 2 years ago, these are the first rifles ever produced by North East Arms (A subsidiary of North East Aerospace - who make the landing gear on the FA/18 Hornets, among other things). They've been getting really good reviews across the board - the build quality is pretty phenomenal for the price.
My plan for this build is something along the lines of a Mk12 SPR - Except not as ugly. The current barrel is a free floated 18" match grade with 1:7 twist - which should in theory produce some good groups with higher grain bullets, I've only been firing standard 55gr so far, but these are supposedly pretty good with anything up to 77gr.
Current optics are an Artic Fox 2.5x Prism sight that I initially purchased for my older, shorter AR which was going to be a lightweight bush-bashing setup. My plan for this one is to slap on a 3-9 or 4-14 vari-power scope on and see what it can do out at longer ranges. I've got my eye on a Leupold Mark AR and some nice rings, but one thing at a time - I'd also like a Timney 3lb match trigger and a chromed bolt carrier, but unfortunately I'm not made of money.
