Consoles are the future

Everyone has a few old games collecting dust.

Post what you've got here, and we'll see if we can get some trading going on.

Everyone pays for their own postage.

Trades will preferably be swaps, so if you want something, you;'ve got to give something.

Make sure you have at least a working serial key before you post

I have a few things. But not much, im really starting out. Ill get some pics but its nowhere near that guys collection. Theres a guy down the road who has a nice one. Has like a boxed everything. Like if a console came with a game he has every version of that box with the different games. It was crazy.

But i have a NES, Snes, N64, PS2, PS3, Game Cube, Wii, Sega Megadrive 2 (Genesis). I have about 50 Nes Games, 30 Genesis, 10 Snes, 10 N64, 30 PS3, 20 PS2, 10 PS1, 2 Gamecube, 2 Wii (both have mods cause I want to save my money for the older stuff haha) My main problem is everything in aus is expensive, everyone wants over the top prices for games. So its hard to find a good deal for anything Sad

But that guy has a very nice collection. Have you seen AVGN's? Its nice too. But ill check out that site, they have nice categories. But unfortunatly, I dont have a top loading NES so i cant play overseas games haha. So ill have to keep my eye out. Smiley

When it comes to pc stuff, im more into Commodores and stuff like that. Smiley

cool, I don't have much in the way of consoles, only got mega drive and master system (but a box full of games for both) and a game boy (used to have heaps of games but my brother gave heaps of them away)
As far as Commodore goes I have about 4 Amigas - 1000, Phoenix, 500, 1200
If you thought old consoles were expensive you should see amiga stuff, people ask $600 for a 68060 CPU card - I did have one guy in the US offer me $500 for my Phoenix though which I bought in a bulk lot of stuff for $50 Smiley

Interested in parting with your megadrive and master system? Grin And the gameboy? Kiss

Wow I didnt know that stuff was that expensive :O I really dont know a lot about amiga stuff. I only know a little about Commodore stuff. I sort of go for the consoles sheerly because I dont have alot of room. I have one small bedroom to fit it all haha. We used to have a Commodore 64 but my dad stored it at my grandmothers and her garage roof caved in. We lots a lot of old computer stuff to water Sad Had like an old custom made pong system back when it came out and some other pretty cool stuff. But right now I think the oldest pc stuff we have are like a few win 3.1 systems.

well i don't really want to get rid of the consoles but I probably have a few sega games I can part with. I only have like 5 gameboy games and I don't want to get rid of them- I used to have like 20, I saved money as a kid and bought them at $40-$60 a pop when they were new 0_0
I'll dig through and see what sega games I've got.

I also had an N64 with all the awesome games - zelda, goldeneye, bad fur day, rogue squadron, etc but again, my idiot brother traded it and all my games for an Xbox with one game when that was the latest and greatest Cry More

cool thing about the Amiga is that new stuff is still being designed for them - for example http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=1002
that's only a 68030 so like about 10% the speed of a 68060 but it is brand new and they've supposedly got a new one coming out next year - not bad for a 15 year old computer Smiley

Heh thats cool. Master Systems are going for ridiculous prices on ebay. I swear theres a reseller on there behind it all. Cause all the descriptions are the same even on the different accounts haha. But thats cool. Let me know if you ever decide to Smiley And eugh,no offence, but your brother is stupid for doing that xD Game traders offered me $5 for my Near Mint Condition boxed Mario Bros 3 game. I laughed at him xD But I know how that Is. My brother stole my gameboy and games when I was young and sold them to cash converters. Parents found out when the cops found the other stuff he stole from them and he had to buy it back for me. They blamed me for losing it too lol. But when I had my first job I had every retro console. But my parents one day boxed it up while i was at school and sold it all. $50 they got. It was well over a thousand dollars worth of stuff now. I bought bits and pieces bulk at an auction and from markets. I was angry to say the least xD

I heard about people still working on things for them. Theres even new games being developed from them. I have a few retro magazines explaining how to make amiga and commodore cabinets for arcades and things. Thats pretty cool though. Its kinda terrible though knowing that a 15 year old computers parts cost the same as the current stuff xD Could easily buy a 580 for $600 Kiss Wouldnt mind getting my hands on one, specially to see what programming on its like, as useless as it will be xD

Yeah I was pretty dirty on my brother for doing that. I still remind him about it.

All retro game stuff is fetching stupid prices and it's only going up, I think more and more people are collecting them now...

Other cool thing about Amiga is that a lot of cracking groups that are active today started on the Amiga in the 80s. Razor 1911 and skid row to name a couple. There was also a little group called the Silents that formed a game company called DICE... One of their first games was Pinball Dreams on amiga and A few years later they released a little game called Battlefield 1942...
