Well the first trailer is up for Black Mesa: Source which is a MOD for HL2 which has been in production for sometime (think it's been almost 2 years?)

id love it, but i dont really get whats with the alien hand octopus like thingo but beside that it looks awesome, but isn't source used for online games? (and yes ive heard of half-life source but never played it) great find MOSH

all the original games such as CS and team fortress came from half life
and every source game is based of the half life 2 engine
and guess what it was designed for single player
and sorry but thats a -1 karma

That's one of the things I rather like about Valve, they support mods, then when they die buy them out and make actual games out of them. Valve maintains a great community, and that's a good deal of it's success. That, and Steam.

wow i can get a lot of disrespect, i have played hl2, hl2:ep1 & 2 (also lost coast, that was shit though) and played a tiny bit of the original half-life but barely any, very complicated, but anyway that doesn'y really explain the source thing, but if you thought i hadn't played any of the half life series IS the biggest sin in computer gaming, how could you do that?

Source is the second generation engine for the half-life series (HL1 - GoldSource engine), many games use the source engine (CSS, TF2, L4D), not only multiplayer games FYI.
