For anyone in the clan interested in getting into drones cheap I would highly recommend the Syma range or clones. I personally got the syma x5sw for $90 off ebay and it comes with fpv wifi camera and is very fun to fly.  Spare parts are very cheap and they are nearly indestructable.  I would not get the x5sw again as it has a bug in the flight controller so I would recommend getting the x5sc if anyone wants one and they are a little cheaper.

Since picking mine up I have also purchased a cheerson cx20 off a mate, with a very good transmitter for $250.

You can get into the hobby very cheaply and learn to fly before going full fpv racing.

Anglo there are a few clubs, I am not at the racing level yet, give me 6 months to a year and maybe I will be ready.
