Starting at $1,349, Surface Pro 4 has a 12.3-inch screen and is available from 12 November in Australia, with pre-orders starting 7 October. While the new Surface Book is being pitched as "the ultimate laptop", the Surface Pro 4's tagline is "the tablet that can replace your laptop".

Considering buying the SP4 m3, but not completely convinced over a standard laptop yet

We have them at work. I have been using the surface pro 3 for about 6 months now and they are a pretty good device, very mobile and handy. If I was buying something for mobility I would buy it over a standard laptop. There are other options from other vendors though that are pretty good.

Let me know if you have any specific questions I will answer as best I can.
