anyone able to explain who the bad guy is to me ? Or explain how they came about ? I seem to notice trailers seem to show bad guys who pop up out of the ground like daises with not much story, just an excuse for a special effects trailer to lure people in. Doesn't quite do it for me, need a purpose / explanation.

The enemy is Ultron who for the purposes of this film is an AI Tony Stark made (not sure if Jarvis turned evil at this point).
From the comicbooks Ultron was originally made by another guy who goes by the name Ant Man.

All in all looks awesomely epic.
