I'm interested in hearing some reviews before I get this.I loved earlier TW games but I wasn't really a fan of Empire.

Combat is more like rome, as in it's not so frantic like Shogun was.
Campaign map is so much more detailed, more little factions you can help grow or haplessly destroy. Each army is different, not just reskins of different units, completely different units, and completely different castles depending on where you are.

Each faction has a unique research tree.... I could go on and on and on.

It's the best total war I have played.

Pretty epic so far. I'd be keen for that multiplayer campaign if you lads are.

Is the ground "flickering" when you move the camera during a battle?
If so disable crossfire, doing that fixed it for me.

I love the new province system. Think its  better idea, and it works well so far. Also the simple fact that you don't have to keep a small standing army in every bloody city is great as well.

This is a mod that unlocks all factions and makes it 4 turns per year (you will have to start a fresh Campaign).

Download: http://www.strategie-zone.de/forum/download/file.php?id=2669

Install:
1. Backup the original startpos.esf file in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Total War Rome II\data\campaigns\main_rome" (put somewhere safe)
2. copy playable_factions.pack to the "data" directory of rome example "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Total War Rome II\data"
3. copy startpos.esf to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Total War Rome II\data\campaigns\main_rome"

If done right it will look like this .

Managed to turn it off during a campaign map (If you start a new one that is) There's a settings tab and in there, there's a Toggle for showing the AI moves.
