Well the reviews i had a read of didn't rate multiplayer. But they did not really say what level they were playing on. I have not played any other multiplayer modes yet, but multi co op on single player at hardest level is lots of fun! I will see how the rest of the game is after i finish the story.

overall i enjoyed it. Bad point i guess is there is not many heart pumping fear moments in the game (besides the queen at the end i was scared to get hit by the bitch) like deadspace or that 1st f.e.a.r game but yeh multi coop is alota fun

I've got it and think it's fun.:-) To be honest, it feels a little dated, and if you have played AvP, I think AvP movement (wall walking inc) feels a bit smoother and polished, but once you get use to ACM, it's great fun too! There sounds like there will be a lot of DLC to come.. so looking forward to that.
PvP also has not dedicated servers, so it's peer to peer. If you have enough friends, you can make friends only games and there are no random 800 ping monkeys making things too interesting.. lol

PvE is a rail shooter. Fun, set just after the ‘Aliens’ movie and has some story discrepancies if you are well versed in Alien law.. but I’ve enjoyed playing with mates, even if they like running off and dying just before I can revive them.. *Cough* *Toaster* *Cough*… lol Start on ‘Ultimate Badass’ for a bit more of a challenge with no HUD etc.
In short, I recommend getting it! Maybe not at steam full price... green man have it... or wait till next xmas for steam sales.. and don't expect too much in the graphics department. (If you do want to look at hi-rez graphics.. just go to the customize screen and gaze at the shiny Aliens there…)

I've enjoyed it as well, singleplayer is just too easy with rare thrill moments

so much potential wasted, think this is why people dislike it so much

Multiplayer is Awesome, made the $49 worth it
