Fez and I are fine, our parents are fine if a bit garage-soggy or property-surrounded-by-water-soggy. Brother's family is out Kenmore/Moggill way and they're dry but powerless (I think the lack of computers/internet is hurting them more than anything else, hahaha!).

+1 to alucard btw for sms'ing to find out if we were okay, appreciated the though mate, *bigheart!*

All I know at the moment: anglo and his place are fine (Forest Lake), but it might be a bit messy front/back (innuendo not intended!); no idea about sandy! (same suburb as anglo!); EMonk's down at the GoldCoast, are you ok? Kesawi pipped in the shoutbox that he had no power but if he's able to complain about it he must be alright more or less, Splints is gonna be a lumberjack and that's okay, he'll game at night and chop all day  PDT_Armataz_01_14 hope everyone else in a spot to be affected are alright  Lips Sealed

I'm pretty fine although my town (Kingscliff) copped a flogging with downed trees, landslides and smashed shopfronts everywhere. There was heaps of that sea foam stuff all over one of the local caravan parks.

My parents weren't so lucky. Had about 3-4 feet of water under the house.
Thankfully they were able to get all the cars etc to high ground but at one point the river was still rising and it was looking like they had nowhere else to take the cars.

mooring on the front steps

cane harvester is probably a write off

It actually got a bit higher than that as the tide came in, but its starting to go down now.

Now they've gotta go around and hose the mud off everything.

That won't be the last time his lounge will be covered in fluid,  if he has a house warming.
