Post your idea's for promoting death Inc.
Here's one of my small clip idea's for death Inc promo. (Got idea and joke from Shaun micallef) Person dressed as the grim reaper playing on a PC, someone from several metre's away yells "who are you", the grim reaper replies "I am Death" This repeats 2 more times with everyone getting louder, then the person yelling at grim says "sorry mate I though you were deaf" Then the font saying join Death Inc, or brought to you by death Inc.
(This to me is a very important announcement because I want to promote this good clan and give something back) So post what you think of the above clip idea and any idea's for music, images and any other promotion to spread the word, cheers all.

I absolutely agree that we need to do some work to promote the clan. It seems to me that the MWO and LoL guys have been shouldering most of the recruitment workload (good on you guys) but they shouldn't have to.
I think once the "real" competitive ladders for MWO and PS2 start up we will have a much easier time of bringing in new blood, and we will also have more material with which to create good quality promotional videos/images etc.
I don't know the timeline for when Australian competitive MWO stuff will be starting up (maybe it has already, I'm sure anglo will be able to fill this in) but I know that the PS2 devs are looking to add in organised competitive play/esports support early this year.

Recruitment is hard because its dependant on having a sizable force in any game showing our skill and acting professional, which in turn may cause people to be like "wow I want in that clan".
Also its up to the individual member to ask people if they would like to be apart of a great community.

It will take effort and time, but with networking with the right people , small clips won't cost much, if the clip is good enough and or funny enough then the chance's increase of the clip going viral, hence promoting the clan to a bigger audience. I have friends that work for channel 31 in Melb, they could help film and edit and act.

You're trolling, right? Here is an other idea ; Have on the death Inc web site in forums a heading of idea's, for clan and individual's, idea's from good old house hold tips to new idea's for games.
It's called the Ask Chalice section

Well it might help if clan members actually started wearing their tags in-game. ARMA II *cough*

Here's some Benadryl for ya mate. Clan Valhalla's kill the VIP wasteland event. 60 players 9 of which were DI all of us with our tags on. It will take effort and time, but with networking with the right people , small clips won't cost much, if the clip is good enough and or funny enough then the chance's increase of the clip going viral, hence promoting the clan to a bigger audience. Relax mate, Death Inc has been up for around 10 years, we get new members almost daily. I think were pretty good when it comes to numbers.

Another suggestion i would like to make is, the website could do with some SEO optimisation. Doing a google on "Australian Gaming Clan" does not show deathinc or even searching "Goat Shagging Gamers" produces zero results for deathinc.
How can we expect more members if they can't even find us under goat shaggers.

We already did that not long ago. Look at www.deathinc.com.auWe probably need more people linking to us to boost our rank. It may help if people that use their DI sig in other forums have a line of text like 'Premier Australian Gaming Clan' and hyperlink to www.deathinc.com.auAt the end of the day SEO only gets you so far in the listings. Its possible that whoever did the SEO did something dodgy to try and boost our ranking, and got us blacklisted on google. Personally I think its a bit of a waste of time/money... most of our recruits are referred in-game by existing members, according to their recruitment posts. I doubt many people search google for a clan to join.

Personally i'm not sure what the panic is all about. Sure self promotion is fantastic. There are new members joining every day. Retention is a big +!!! Just as much as recruiting. We are represented in nearly every game style atm which is fantastic tbh.

Sam provides all the retention that DI needs.
