Ok need some help guys , I bought an OCZ Agility 3 SSD 120g works great while i'm using it cant fault it .Problem is if it sits idle for say 15 mins or longer the OS crashes and is non responsive Huh? Is there a compatability issue with something or is the ssd not configured properly , need to update firmware Huh? has me totally fecked  Angry any ideas with what the issue may be ?? apart from taking it out the back and pissing on it .  Undecided

couple of things to check. First, AHCI mode selected for the drive when you installed? (bios setting)
Secodnly, switch off hibernate mode (win7 i pressume) this may be causing the issue and has been linked in the past with OCZ drives to causing problems with the ssd's.

further to cowcar's post disable all power management, i have not had to run any firmware on any of these drives.

What was the result of the hard drive mode in the bios?

Which version windows are u running?

could be cable, you could try using original cable (the cable you have the current hard drive running), or vice vera. nothing to loose.

Will try this along with other ports or the same port as other drive has been using...

positive start, have you checked to see if the motherbaord has, driver update for storage or chipset.

then I would have a look at possible bios, read the readme against bios update to see if they make mention of fixing your issue, if so , worth, while running
