Author Topic: What NOT to do with a loaded trailer!!!!  (Read 2636 times)

One of the guys i work with dropped his trailer today after the Prime mover broke down. Big mistake was that it was loaded and he did not use blocks to put under the legs of the trailer.  Huh?

Being a hot day,the bitumen becomes soft and the legs sunk into it and this is the end result!     PDT_Armataz_01_13

Nah fucked was the one that did something similar near my old job yet the fucker was full of oxy tanks for welding and started to tip n lean into a power pole.

Outcome - shut power to the street and get a crane ASAP before the fucker tips n a tank explodes.

Got us off work easy Smiley

Happened at work once. There's an area in the yard which has rocks under it so the ground is nice and hard where most truckies know to park their trailers, and one much smaller area which is just gravel on soil. And of course old mate came in one night, dropped off his milk tanker trailer, parked on the soft stuff, and by morning she was sitting on it's belly.
