Yo,
Parents bought me an MSI GTX580 for Chrissy, I installed the card, power cables are attached, but there is no picture on my monitor. I haven't reseated the card yet, as I am out and about, there may be dust in the connection, but I'm just asking for alternate opinions if a simple reseat doesnt fix it.

I tried with both HDMI and DVI connections from the card to no avail. I did have to move the position of the hard drive during the installation aswell.
I'm kinda pissed off that it's not working, spent 3 hours trying to work the thing...

Cheers,
Mandy

If your putting it in the slot that your previous card was in its not the slot unless you fucked it by yanking out the card. Also ive heard that there are some major overheating issues with the MSI's version of the 580 and 590 but maybe they have fixed them since ive heard this. Bohica would know better than me

Nvidia cards will self beep if there is not usually enough power.

Are you putting this card in as SLI Huh? or physx, do you have a bridge attached.

does the card fucntion on its own, as if you already have another graphics card then 350 watt is not goin to be enough. minimum is goin to be 600watts

If you pc is not booting in to windows, then it wont be driver issue!

drivers will only be an issue once it gets into windows.

were you running a nvidia before?
