personally i wouldnt bother, its just another gizmo that will have a novelty factor at the start

everyone I know with a tablet just shows it off as a status symbol for a couple of weeks then once that novelty wears off it lays dormant.
Oh I dunno...
I must admit when I first got my iPad it was a bit of a novelty and I didn't really have much use for it, so it was hardly used for the first three months, but then once I had Telstra configure the SIM card in it to give me access to the custom APN for work, and got my hands on the iPad VNC and iTap RDP client, I started to find it very, very useful for work... as a field IT support tool (albeit with the cavaets I just described), it's excellent...
But, I am willing to admit that is a pretty narrow point of view... I'm the only person I know who uses an iPad for anything legitimate work-wise, most of the Directors, Senior Managers, Teachers etc I deal with on a daily basis only check their email and play games... though with the iPad 2 Teachers ARE starting to use them for presentations etc in place of laptops...
Now, on the subject of Android, I say... Android Blows. That is all

It perhaps blows slightly less now than when I tried the HTC Desire, and the Samsung 7" Galaxy Tablet... but it is still right up there with Norton the Horny Goat in blowing-ness, even based on the newest incarnations, in my opinon...
