Have an old computer which im planning to get rid of.  Wondering if anyone would be able to quote me on how much I could get for it.

Specs:
CPU: Intel Core2Quad Q6600 @ 3.0 ghz with 4m cache.
CPU cooler: ASUS Silent Knight 2
MOBO: Gigabyte P31-DS3L (775 socket)
GPU: Gigabyte Nvidia 260+ GTX With 898mb VRAM
RAM: 4gb  DDR2 @ 800mhz
OS: WIN 7 ultimate
HDD: 320gb @ 5400rpm
PSU: 650w Antec Earthwatts (NEW)

Was hoping for between 6-7 hundred hopefully.

If it is just the box...with the price of parts being pretty darn cheap now, i would expect you would sell it for about $350~$400 tops.

Yeah good luck shafting someone for 6-7 hunj. You could buy a brand new computer for the same price and it'd be a lot quicker.

Also is that copy of windows even legit? I don't know anyone that's bought win7 ultimate.

Agreed with above, 350 is probably about right... If you sell it on forums like ocau though you will find people will want you to part it out rather than buy the whole system. You might get more money that way but you'll also end up with a couple of bits nobody wants, more than likely.
