You can add custom skins to your tanks, makes it abit more gun. So here's some links.

Q. How do I put the skin into the game folder, or take the file out if I want to paint my own skin?
A. The skins are located in the following folder: World of Tanks > Res > Vehicles > Side > Vehicle name > 'thevehiclename.dds'
If you want to add a new skin, make sure you have a copy of the original saved safely, then just copy the new 'thevehiclename.dds' file into the folder. Nice and easy to do

MAKE SURE TO COPY YOUR VEHICLE FOLDER FIRST

I personally think this could be used as a hack, you can do up a set of skins with the week points of every tank painted in fluro yellow or red to help targeting. As the skin doesn't just apply to your tank, it applies to all of that type in your game. also no one else can see your skins

These already exist, I've used then once an found them to be no real benefit. The weak points are no more then guess work or places everybody already knows about.
The Devs have said that although they think there a cheap tactic to use people are free to put any skin they want on their tanks as they are the only ones who can see them.
