LOL.

The russians are using inflatable decoy tanks aircraft, launchers etc.. to be used as decoys to satelite and aerial observation...these even mimic the heat and infra red signatures of the real deal Huh?

The Americans actually did this in WWII succesfully keeping an entire German Armoured brigade in place with blow up tanks whilst they moved the real tanks at night to a different position and hit them from the flanks Cheesy

So the Russians are now approx 70 years behind the americans as far as tactics go  Wink

Infaltable jet

Funny..but not too bad, this photo makes me take this seriously  Huh?

I know in WWII the 2 opposing tank brigades entered a kind of stalemate with neither side firing..then the yanks did this and suprised the living shit out of em as they thought all the tanks were still there and hadn't moved..worked brilliantly.

They were also used to fluff their numbers, which is probably what the russians will do as well...so really they have 3 tanks there...but it looks like theres 30.  This is scary when you think of jets, missile launchers etc..

Spec ops, bombing runs etc go off sat photo's in order to target enemy missile installations...think of the scud hunt in iraq..imagine deploying bombers and spec ops assaults/obs only to find out its a fukin party balloon?  Grin

It makes sense for the Russians to use a cheap alternative in favour of the real thing..

not many people know this story, but here you go: When Randomizer was a young lad living in Serbia, there was a bit of a "distrubance" going on (some migth call it a war).. anyway, the americans thought back to WW2, and came up with a brilliant trick to lure people out. This is how randomizer ended up in Australia.

Anyway, they used the above trick, with inflatables.. but with a subtle difference. You need the right bait to catch the fish...
