As you may or may not be aware chalice, I have a problem with getting my 2 8800GT's to run in SLI. How can I get them to work together?

Well Jive...I'm glad you asked.

The problem your facing is that your two GPU's simply cant stand one another.

This could be caused thru a number of things but in this case I believe its due to GPU1 giving your CPU some RAM and GPU2 isn't a FAN of that and is jealous and has probably bitched to their mother..board.

Heres what to do...

Get your CPU pissed , shes such a little slut, by tilting your case on its back, opening the CD drive up and pouring continuous shots of rum (your choice of alcohol) into it.

You'll know you've had the desired effect when on your monitor everything becomes blurry and your PC starts playing "Its raining men" over and over again.

Next step...swap your GPU's around (leave your SLI cable unplugged (that comes later) and leave out GPU1.  restart your computer and leave it to go into standby.

Come back an hour later and by then your 2nd GPU should've had its dirty little way with your smoking hot CPU.

Swap them back around and plug the original GPU back in and allow some time for GPU2 to gloat that he just got it on with GPU1's misses.

Now comes the fun part...you see at this point GPU2 is happy but GPU1 wants to kick the shit out of GPU2 and CPU is feeling like a cheap tramp...nothings going to work right now as everyones feeleing either randy or hostile.

Its at this point that you need to put the microphone on and say "Guys..the only solution is a threeway"

Pour more alcohol in and connect the SLI cable, which will allow the GPU's to work that little whore of a CPU together...so now the two GPU's are happy and the CPU whilst being a bit sore and chafed is having the time of her life.

P.s. watch that your webcam isn't getting in on the action and uploading the footage to the web...could get messy then
