IT Speculation for future purchase. (WIFE Approved)

I have recently setup an IS&T Bank account that recieves $75 a week from my pay. Currently it is at $900 (fluctuates due to the odd bill but I try to top it back up to stay on track)

My aim/goal is to have $4,000 by Oct 26th for an IT overhaul at my place. However, I am thinking I may not have enough and should aim for $5k

What my goal is;

- new desk & chair (comfy as possible not cheap vinyl)
- new gaming rig and monitor (as high end as possible)
- new NAS capable of accessing remotely. (my current 360gb is getting old)
- Joystick (prefer Saiteck)
- Gaming Keyboard and mouse.

I have tried to predict what will be around in a 12 months time and think I am going to fall short at $4k cause of the furniture / chair etc and just focus on a PC/monitor/NAS. If you had to be a soothsayer for a day, would you say $4k is plenty for next year, or add an extra $25 a week in now and go for $5k?

Thoughts ? Cause I need to lock this into the bank account / auto payment before it gets too late.

Already use cloud for pics and docs. NAS was more for the wife and her shit and I just manage remotely when she annoys me, plus have a PC backup go to it.
