I Pre-ordered this but was unable to participate in the Beta. The subscription model has been dropped in favour for a pay once play forever model with the option of purchasing a membership. I quite like this game and would definitely pick it up again if a few people got it.

The character creation system works well because it forces p[layers to create their own classes through exploiting ability combinations and stacking bonuses. The developers have done an awesome job with the story and graphics and is probably one of the most entertaining MMO's I have played because of it's voice acted NPC's and cut scenes. Another thing that was awesome about this game was the alternate reality missions were you are required to research real world websites and facts in order to uncover vital clues.

I am pretty sure at the time of writing that TSW is only $30 on steam and for such a massive game well worth the dollars and time. PM me if you end up getting it.

I've been considering this one actually.  OnceI play through all my other Steam impulse buys! Smiley

Well let me know when that happens cause I really liked this game but hung it up for reasons I can't recall.

I play this, on occasion.  It's not bad.  GW2 is far more fun, but the atmosphere in TSW is pretty good.  Combat isn't as awesome as GW2.

The combat is it's main drawback, or so I hear. I am by no means a MMO aficionado.
