Just found a new Facebook group:
"With awesome hacking skills, you too can create a Facebook group with a really long name that defies the laws of physics and time, thereby creating a rip in the universe that calls forward dinosaurs to attack Australia. (Run, Australians, run!)"

http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=5051123189&ref=nf

If it's not yet too late you could all move over here to NZ. Cheesy

thankfully, like when i argued almost forever with dex, time doesnt really exist, so therefore they can't put a rip within the universe, also how does hacking defy the laws of physics? (outside of video games).

i think these guys are just retards, they probably dont even understand any bit of physics, or is this some crazy plan by the tourism board of New Zealand?

Wait... You're saying they don't understand physics, yet you claim time doesn't exist? Hypocritical much?

Time does exist..I know I created a time machine/black hole generator as described in the Ask Chalice section of the forums...kittens and rats beware.

In regards to the dinosaur thing...meh....already happened to me once...those who know the story will understand Smiley

its not hypocritical, if you saw me and dex's argument, time doesn't exist, its an organisational tool, there's no real time clock ticking away there, it can however (resorting back to the argument) be in example.

It still exists, Time is just a name we give to it. Like how distance is just a name used to describe a physical property of the universe.

Without time nothing would happen as everything would be happening at the same singular point in time. You can't just take away one of the physical dimensions. Unless you're a string theorist. Then you do whatever the fuck you like to make the physical universe be able to be described by your wrong theory. Generally you don't change the data to fit the theory, you change the theory to fit the data.

hmm, this string thoery interests me, what is it?

anyway what i am saying to be a little more understood is that we can say things that are thousands of billions of km's away that we could see are happening would've already happened if it were where we are. but "time" does not control how things go ie after a few hours the earth will have turned making the sun go down, but the earth would be spinning without need of this "time", the simple thing is it's turning and that it doesn't follow time.

and by that, time travel cant be done, i am yet to be proved by chalices machine.

but what you said is pretty agreeable, if i get what you ment.

time is a construct and as such exists and does not exist at the same moment, the thing is your all confusing partical theorums and sub-space structures, which do and dont coexist dependent on the relative theory applied. time IS a unit of measure, "space time" or dimendional relitivity is the travel of partical matter through space thus illiciting the pretension of TIME, so basically time doesn't exist while it does exist.

get it.......

But the earth does need time to spin. It's like how you can't have an object with volume without height width and depth. Time allows movement. Velocity is distance over time. Time is relative though. The faster you go the slower you experience time, so to a photon it leaves its origin and arrives at it's destination simultaneously. To us it took it distance/(the speed of light) amount of time.

Anyway, whether Time exists or not isn't going to save us from the motherfucking Dinosaurs.

The earth spinning without one of the dimensions the the universe (time) would be like trying to draw a cube in a 2D world.

Have you seen Doctor Who?
The time vortex when channeled has the power to split objects into their individual atoms. Time is key. Without time. . .

Fuck this.

My head exploded

I agree with Chal.
The concept of non-existence of time is just too strenuous for me to contemplate.

exactly my point.
