Paul and Jake had been homeless and bumming together for twenty years, but now Paul was on his deathbed and the Doctors said there was nothing they could do. Jake had to move close to hear Paul weakly say, "We been through a lot together Jake, But I have a very special favor to ask of you here at the end. You know that cedar box I been carrying all these years?"

Jake nodded and Paul continued, "Now in that box is a bottle of fine scotch whiskey that was aged eleven years when I first got it, and I never took it from the box. I was saving it for something special, so I want to ask that you slip back to my grave after dark and pour it over me. Will you do that?"

"Of course I will!" Jake said with tears in his eyes, "But, Paul, would you mind greatly if I strain it through my kidneys first?"
