Mandy to help with your shyness...just rehearse a couple of things to say...start with "Hi"...dont stall it too long buddy as it will only work your nerves up more and you'll end up doing a nervous giggle.

Didn't you know this girl for awhile as "friends" anyway?  If so you've spoken to her heaps right?

Just call her up preferably 3 days before your day options so FRI/SAT call her on Tuesday, say "Hi, its Mandatory (use real name).., I'm as nervous as hell but I really like you and was wondering what you were doing either Friday/Sat around 2ish?"

Admit your nervous, cuz that will explain your weird tone you'll have as your hearts in your throat...say the above line, just be yourself over the phone but try and sound confident and HAPPY...so smile as you say the line...Happiness is a trigger emotion and top sales people always smile over the phone when trying to sell you something, as believe it or not smiling translates over the phone via tone and people like HAPPY..SO BE HAPPY.

Dont think about rejection AT ALL...cross that bridge if it happens buddy...just take one step at a time and focus and worry about that particular step.

Now todays Tuesday..if you want to go out with her this FRI/SAT CALL HER NOW...practise that line..dont sound corny, be happy and confident and just call her and say the line...If she says yes, say awesome..I'll see you FRI/SAT at 2 then...do you want to meet at your house/train station etc..?  If she asks what you'll be doing say its a surprise (remember if your going ice skating tell her she'll need a jumper).

Mandy, yes of course l have a solution for you. But you have to listen and do what l say. 
Unfort you are gonna have to bite to bullet and some what get over the fact that you are shy, but just remember you can use being  shy to your advantage.  Step one is your phone call, we can get you through this step at a time.

But let me tell you a tiny secret about girls! We don't actually like the too out there confident guy, cos they come across as being "know it alls" and it makes us feel we have nothing to contribute to the relationship. You'll learn this as you get older, but chicks like to be in control. Guys think they should be in contriol, but in actual fact, they aren't meant to be and life as l know it and all the dudes on deathinc that have partners will admit the same shit to you. It sounds like it sux, but it's all about men and woman getting along. It just works. (i'm ducking cos l feel some stones coming my way.) but in saying that, when you find someone rreally cool and you want to spend lots of time with, no one will have control,it will just work. What about her, is she shy at all?

So, knowing that very crucial bit of information, when you call her up, admit that you are nervous about the situation that your friends put you two thru, and admit that it didn't make you feel very good, and that you know it would have made her feel crap too. Tell her that you are really sorry and that you want to make it right. Even tho you didn't do anything, you are letting her know, that you can see that the "fuck up" as you call it, can be solved just by you guys alone without anyone else interferring. That is a good line to use! Make it right! Say it with me, Make it right. Excellent. So see how you go with this step first. Call her up, and tell her that much at least. Just let the conversatiion flow, she will talk and you will talk. But she is going to be super impressed with the fact that you have ecknowledged the fact that everyone else getting involved was not cool.

Right we will work on the next step, but as l said, ask her out to a place where you can chat, and get to know each other properly. And as the fellas told you, without the mates! Leave them at home.

But the key here is as Chal said, admit you are nervous and it is cos you like her. She will be sooooo like "Ohhhhhh he is soooooo sweeeeeet!" That's what she is gonna say, and man she is so gonna like you even more.
