We send fosters there, they send corona and Wild Turkey here on the same principle

Beer tastes better in the place it came from... Australia has some great beers, sadly nothing by Toohey's or much from CUB (fosters) is all that good.
My favourite beer is Coopers Pale... I like it so much I'm thinking of moving to Adelaide
agree on the taste of beers in different places... one of my favorite beers i ever drank was when i was 14 in some dingy pub in manchester, called Websters. Really nice..(although wouldnt go to the pub again for fear of stabbing..)
Have to point something out however: Fosters in the USA is different to fosters here and even Fosters in the UK. They brew different beers designed for each market. Fosters in Australia (whilst extremely rare to find these days) is not too bad. I will also point out that Tooheys make Extra Dry (the aformentioned TED's ) which is a nice drop. The Premium Extra Dry's are very potent too (i thinkt hey are 6%).
As for coopers, this is the anti christ of beers. Total garbage.. i would rather drink 5 pints of water from the Ganges downstream from New Dheli's 12th annual "Mud Butt" competition than a single drop of coopers...
