Dear Chalice,

This is a two part question.
I currently work in the Fire Protection industry, I design fire sprinkler systems for warehouses and offices.
How do I go about getting a pay rise?
At the NFIA NSW Fire Ball on Friday I commented that I could bid more in the charity auctions if I got paid more, and my boss told me to see him on Monday.
How do I not get fired?

Well Zoo,  as you work in the fire protection industry...i recommend setting fires and bursting in just as really gets going and put it out.

Another alternative is to switch all the extinguishers around on your fellow employees i.e. foam - water...sure fire way of killing your competition.

Alternatively sleep with his wife..using a gimp mask and tape it..that way you can claim that it was him and blackmail him.


You could always get us DI lads to call your work and say how helpfull and professional you are.

Part2 of your question is "How do i not get fired?"

Too easy, there is always the blackmail option as demonstrated above or you could Wrap yourself in cellophane, super glue your feet together, clap like a penguin and quack like a duck, coat yourself in Vasoline and act like a caterpillar on the floor...when your boss comes into the office and see's this..BAM instant workcover due to stress induced insanity and then he cant fire you!!!

Note: This doesn't work on me as thats normal behaviour for me
