very cool, I thought it was only the capsule part that was to re-land itself, so shall be interesting to see how it goes...

Not well it turns out...

They hit the barge, just a bit too hard. Pretty impressive though. If they can get it to work, could save quite a lot of time and money between launches.

yeah just read that... but they have another launch in a month, so "practice makes perfect" and they seem to know what caused the problem...but quite a remarkable feat of engineering if they can pull it off with regularity...

oh. That hit really badly. They made it sound like it just hit too hard, that was at a terrible angle too. That's a fairly major failure.
