This was fake but funny until the last line, then it was just embarassing. I find most people are idiots, I figure it's a bonus if they don't speak english, it makes them easier to ignore.
I remember this one guy I used to work with in the kitchen, this old italian guy, about 5 foot five, hairy nose, used to suck down VB all night, and get drunker and louder and more abusive. But he couldn't speak english. This guy used to blow his lid and the waitresses, and at me in Italian. The waitresses were scared of him, he was fierce. I decided since I couldn't understand him, I didn't have to be offended, so I would laugh at him and keep working. We got along fine after a while. I'm pretty sure he called down seven kinds of hell on me each night, but I would just laugh and sing moondance at him.

You can easily defuse the situation and make friends with any italian with this simple phrase:
"Non capisce, vacca putana. Choke sulla mia merde".

You would have got along like a house on fire after that.

I thought merde was french. That was aboyt all I learned from french at high school.

merde is in spanish as well. crazy concepts of languages that have similar back grounds.
