I;m out until they set up an australian server and fix up the matchmaking. Without those, I seriously think this will just be an exercise in frustration.

The new patch means you don't need to lead lasers anymore, if that encourages you at all. Once those changes are applied to ballistics and missiles, I imagine it won't really matter where the server is. Many games work fine these days with pings of 200-300 - War Thunder plays fine at 380!
