As ever I'm bringing the big issues the only place they can dare to answer them.

Help me settle a little discussion I had with the wife last night.

I'm with Donut, the default is Biscuit, and being the ANZAC, it should clearly use the Australian default of Biscuit.

I feel Cookie has it's place, primarily in describing over sweet American style biscuits. I would never refer to an Oreo as a biscuit...

Cookie is an American word and that infection did not happen until after WWII.

Can u see the WWI diggers in the trenches saying "Cobber can u hand me a cookie  because I'm to busy killing all the Huns I can before I get a blighty and get sent back to Mother England."

Makes me chuckle a bit when u think over 90% of them where of UK ancestors.

Wet cookie doesn't sound right.

Wet biscuit is what used to get all the private school boys excited.

This is pretty much how the conversation went. Then thinking about what do Americans call cookies, then, what is a cookie to me.All I could think was chocolate chip cookies, and cookie dough icecream. The wife suggested that anzac biscuits could be called cookies in different parts of Oz, so I figured I'd ask you guys.

I hate people who call anzac biscuits 'anzac cookies'

I've never actually heard anyone call them that but I hate them regardless.

What the fuck is 'GF anzac biscuit' in the poll?
Girlfriend anzac biscuit?
Is this some variation on soggy sao?
