Yeah, I had to gush somewhere about my new acquisition, so here is the best place I can think of.


Bought it in Melbourne, drove it up to QLD.  Probably going to drive it to WA to show off too.


450hp.  Uprated injectors, intake, exhaust, cams, ecu, lightened flywheel, clutch, ebc, powerfc.  Just needs bigger snails.  Thinking of grabbing some N1 ones from somewhere.  Virtually pristine, previous owner babied the hell out of it, always washed, garaged etc.

I was thinking the same thing, but I did get shown a dynosheet with a peak output of 457 iirc.  He wouldn't let me keep it though.  Maybe that was a chassis dyno, I never thought to ask.

It's quick as a cut snake.  I'll have to get it down the drags and get a time, then we'll know for sure.  Also, know a 4wd dyno in BNE?

The 2 I know really well are both rwd but that is just a matter of pulling front drive shafts

Was it just for power runs you wanted as that will be fine and could organise pretty easily for you if you want

Otherwise awd dyno's are mercury Motorsport and GT auto garage plus a few others I don't know very well at all

And a chassis dyno won't make any real difference
But I have had my 33 read 800hp by changing ambient temp and a few other settings and is easy to make it read a lot higher than it is

Hope you get paid lots or fly everywhere as driving a gtr around 3 states is a good way to go broke unless work pays for running cost then it is awesome

  Well, I have a rental in Yeppoon, but I'm never here.  I'm thinking of "moving" back to WA.  And by "moving" I mean moving my Hayabusa and car.  The house has nothing but a shit hot internet connection and a TV and PS3 I never use anymore.

I wasn't kidding when I said I live out of a suitcase.  I really really do.

Oh yeah, I fly a lot.  I don't drive everywhere, I'm just doing it in the GT-R because I'm used to long distance driving.  Running costs is nothing, I have no outgoings.
