Since buying a tablet I've rediscovered comic books, I've been reading a book or 2 each night when I get into bed, as a kid I was really into X-Men and all the spin off series and also anything drawn by Todd Mcfarlane like Spawn, The Amazing Spiderman, Spiderman (his venom/spiderman stuff was awesome). My tastes have change a little since then I am currently reading through the following:

Y - The Last Man http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Y:_The_Last_Man

Transmetropolitan http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transmetropolitan

Frank Miller stuff (sin city, the dark knight) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frank_Miller_%28comics%29

and The Walking Dead, I fell so behind on the TV show, this is easier!

Can anyone recommend any slightly more adult comic's or graphic novels based on the above?
For interest I'm using ComicRack as my reader on android https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cyo.comicrack.viewer.free

I read the "Kick Ass" and "Wanted" ones recently, but didn't really like them. The art was good though. Crytpo would be able to recommend a few, he is a bit of a comic nut.

Marvel Civil War

Anti-Venom (short but sweet)

Venom vs Carnage (longer than above, but still good)

the original Captain America comics. why? because they have stuff like in the 60's Batman show like POW! and SOCK! and they have old ads in them (I suspect you're using the Marvel app)

Seconding (or thirding?) the recommendation of Gaiman's Sandman series. And you've already got Frank Miller.

The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen in comic form is allegedly vastly superior to that hash of a movie reproduction; don't know for sure as I haven't read it but one of my friends ranted at length about it.

Tintin comics, if you haven't read them before.
