ok, I bought DLC for Deus Ex Human Revolution a few months ago and I actually got back to playing the game last night.

prior to this Ive done the classic launch via steam for the DLC and nothing happened. So after doing this a heap of times I figure maybe the game itself has something to do with it and leave it at that.

now back to last night, I get up to the moment and I think "OMG OMG OMG, A NEW DEUS EX PART! I BET IT'LL BE AMAZING" but nope.

How do I get this to work?

Try running it from the exe itself not through the steam overlay.

Exe for this should be located here - \Steam\steamapps\common\dxhrml

if that doesn't work try verifying the game cache file and see if it comes up with anything

153 files failed to be validated and are being reacquired

thanks though, despite finishing the game earlier tonight. might have a crack at it tomorrow

Generally if you have Probs with a steam game the first step is to verify the game cache.

Just btw guys The Missing Link is amazing, definitely worth getting (all the Deus Ex 1 references..  ahhhhh)
