Can you pass me what you just smoked and ate there skippy?

I just watched a video of World of Tank on legs in pretty graphics mode. The Mechwarriors I played you could not only move your torso but arms also. That video showed a fixed torso and no reticule movement. IE you have to move the WHOLE torso to aim. Why not move an arm indepently like the older style mechwarrior games.

This seems very rigid to me. I recall in MW3 I could run in a straight line, torso right and then look right and shoot behind me at targets coming up my arse. While I admit, its pretty, gameplay seems a bit reduced.

it looks good to me, i dont know about game play (never really played the originals) change but i would say it is not that bad and probably will have more features on release

i honestly agree, very similar to WoT to be honest.

See - I had to go find an older style of the game play from years ago;

Look at 6 mins onwards ;

did you listen to the audio?  He addressed all of the issues you mentioned saying the are in the game,  torso and arm movement independent of the legs

In the video, you can actually SEE that the torso isn't fixed... Also, the reticule looks to move about, and the lasers don't always fire centred - I'd say there's some arm movement going on there...

Sorry. Was at work when I played it and it was muted. Will play it with sound later when kids asleep and at a more appropriate time.

I stand corrected, but it sucks then showing a rigid mech with just a torso moving and no arms moving. Did they weld the guns onto the nose ?
