I'm running duel AMD Radeon HD 7950's, i have xfire enabled and i know xfire doesnt work in windowed mode, but in BF3 i play full screen, on ultra i dont get any fps lag, however, CCC shows that one graphics card is at 100% use, and the other barely hits 20%... i heard that they should both be equally used around 50-60%? I read up that some USB 3.0 Turbo boost in your BIOS can effectively halve the bandwidth, making the second graphics card not do as much as it can, i tried going into my BIOS and i honestly couldnt find that option to disable, idk if that is an out of date option for older version windows or what, i got windows 7 ultimate... so yeah is this normal? is one card meant to be at 100% and then the other kicks in? or is something wrong? cheers for any input

Oh and as a result of one card being 100% use, it gets quite hot and i gotta turn the fans up, this cant be too good for the life of the graphics card, which is why i wanna find out if this is normal, thanks again Smiley

Well I'm only used to nvidia cards but have you updated the display drivers recently? Because for nvidia  it disables the ski setting to update.

Yeah mate i've checked, crossfire is definitely enabled, the 2nd GPU does get some use, just that its as if it waits for the other GPU to get to 100%, surely it would be better for them to both work equally, and i heard that is what is meant to happen

Wow... just realised it was at 0-20% when i alt tabbed to check CCC because i alt tabbed... that cancels xfire... i had CCC open when i alt tabbed and they were both at 100%, sorry for this dumb arse post, i feel sickingly stupid atm
