Guys and Girls, (Unsure if this can be front paged or highlighted some how)

Can we all please safe this Christmas and, all go out have a good time and come home safely. Would be nice to talk to everyone in Jan / Feb without missing any familiar voices on TS.

If you need to review or watch something to make you think about safety, watch this, pass it on to as many as you need to so they become aware, and be safe.

You wont believe how easy it is to have a car accident, I only just had one a couple of months ago, and while it was low impact, I was gob smacked how easy it was for some one to not pay attention and ram into the left hand side of my car - they failed to give way and run through / into me, (lucky it was a low speed impact crash) but enough to make you realise if it was going faster, it would of done more than 'just hurt'

Love you guys - be safe Smiley

Regards,

Syks

Good advice, I'll try to take it. Driving from Sydney to the Queensland border and back over the Christmas period.

The main problem I've encountered is fatigue from sitting there driving for 10 hours. Doesn't help when starting out at 3-4am. There's only so much that caffeine can do keep you awake. I've found stopping every couple of hours and having something to eat and drink and having a wander around make improve fatigue drastically, although there are times when a nap for an hour or two has been needed.

Better to arrive late than never.

I'm a big fan of the roadside nap. 10 minutes with your eyes closed and you will feel 100%

very wise advice. often i get in the car and find that as I am driving my mind wanders onto  my events of the evening: was that hooker i snorted lines off clean? Did  the bartender honestly poor me doubles when i asked, or just charge me for them?

I've already lost one mate to driver fatigue this year, so I'm making sure all my friends know to be careful out there. Shit's fucked when it happens to someone you know.
