(copied from Anima) for those that already own the source engine. it's a free mod on steam that is still in it's beta stage and it's very fun in my opinion.

it's a fast paced fps with medieval weapons, mainly melee weapons like swords axes, spears, shields. ranged weapons like very old fashioned guns, throwing axes, javelins, arrows etc etc.

That was his part. I played it tonight (it's free) and enjoyed it a lot. Plenty of fun and despite the low amount of aussie servers, the maps are smaller and more suited to lesser amounts of people. the maps are in a CTF/Conquest style. Files only 1 or 2 gb I think and downloaded quickly, even for my net.

Look it up, well worth it imo (fav teams are pirate and viking. pirates have flintlocks/blunderbusters and exploding barrels)

haven't played Mount and Blade so I couldn't really tell you. its worth getting imo, Only 2 or so aussie servers but still great fun

I tried it last night at different times, saw nobody on any servers under 300 ping.

Tried the 300 ping servers, got my ass handed to me.

LOL, yeah, there's a bit of lag and I cant quite find the server I played my first night, but it was still fun. although laggy-er than the first time. wish the stupid history tab remembered the server or I'd still have 100+ ping instead of 300+
