Guys,

Had a moment where I got the shits with my iPhone and erased it and erased the backups also as they were all crap and messed up with different info.

I am starting with a new iPhone setup but am at a loss for the music part. How do I find a list of all the songs I downloaded from iTues so that I can just download them again. I have searched through some articles but they say to use a backup which is NOT what I want nor can do.

Anyoen know a way of logging in online, grabbing a list and then reselecting what I want to redownload ?

Thanks,

Using the latest Itunes;
Click on the iTunes store, then 7 items down from the top right in the Quick Links list there will be a Purchased item. Click that, sign in and it should show everything you've purchased.

That's a bit BS. Will try your tips out but if it goes 6 months back only it will cause me to miss out on a lot of stuff.

Tex buy it again. Even though you purchased it you will get a message half way through saying you already own it and ask if you want to reinstall.

This is what I am doing right now but I can't remember everything and every song I had. Hence I need a list.

I checked the iCloud and it has all songs I purchased from the day I used the iCloud but not before then. Which is odd as I upgraded to iCloud and set the iPhone to backup and sync to it 😞

yeah that is normal mate it wont have everything, i dont think it will have all the music etc for it only has about 5gb worth of space

you could also check out www.apple.com/au/support/icloud or www.apple.com/au/support/itunes

UPDATE

I have found that since I have setup iCloud, the iCloud on the phone and on the PC now has a list of all apps and songs I have ever downloaded since the day I received the phone.

Which is great as it has a new 'cloud' icon beside everythign and I just redownload when I want on the iphone and then select 'hide' on things I no longer need anymore.

This was much easier and more efficient. I suspect it was a matter of waiting for the phone and the iCloud to sync all my purchases. Must of been a 24 hr wait.

Sorry for the late update - had been away for 4 days.
