So, what's the opinion on the Hawkei? It looks cool, but is anyone into this stuff enough to actually have an understanding of the engineering and design choices made?

It's Fucken Awesome, It was supposed to go into the Australian PR forces part of the mod, so I did the research on it.. It's insane, there is talk of a civil version of it too..

the prototypes I say had them mounting a 30mm Autocannon RWS on top or a 12.7mm HMG and Javelin Combo as well as others

A Civvie version would be awesome. It looks so much better than a Hummer. I just hope that it's been designed and built well. I'm assuming money isn't the only reason our armed forces still use decades old Land Rovers.

According to XM25 maker Orbital ATK spokesman Jarrod Krull, in spring the Army will conduct qualification testing and contract validation. If the weapon fulfills the Army’s requirements, the Army could see fielding in early 2017, Krull said — assuming budget decisions also line up in the weapon system’s favor.

Brazil is a beautiful country, but man does it seem like a lot of crazy stuff happens there.
