My mate had an LJ for his first car... fuck it was in mint condition when he got it, had a 186 motor in it... unfortunately he fucked with it as all p-platers do- did his own wiring for the stereo which shorted out and nearly caught fire a couple of times, and kept doing burnouts in it so he kept blowing diffs. Ended up killing the motor so he got a Redlands exchange 202 motor and swapped the 3 on the tree gearbox for a 4 on the floor. By this time it was starting to get rust everywhere, he backed into the side of the garage and wrecked the drivers door.... ended up selling it for like $1500.
Shame really cos it wasa fucking awesome car.
