Ok setup Media center to stream to my Xbox, seemed to work ok but was bit dicky.
Then I noticed my pinned apps were blanked and would not work i.e. team speak, IE9 etc and all desktop items were missing.
Rebooted - I had no access to desktop folder press button to get access.

WTF

Run system restore

No effect AAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!! BF3 will not work

Some stuff is working others not i.e. origin will not connect, and cant download to reinstall "cant access site"
Windows mail will not load corrupted mail file
TS3 some repose from serve then would you like to remove icon from pinned list
WTF WTF

Sugestions for registry clean please

WTF!!!!

Origin works windows mail does not.
Windows firewall troubleshooting does not work at all with error
So if I do advanced restore back to last backup point will I have to down load BF3 again or can I just recover from my F: drive

if you do a system restore bf3, should stay in place, as it will only modify the windows system files...

Restored a backup of clean system just finishing now.
Copying BF3 directory only requires origin to install game not re down load

only if you have the keep download option.

but if it starts to download again, pause it.
go to settings , check where it set to save to.

exit origin, copy your full download to the location in the settings, overwrite when prompted.

start origin, unpause download watch it skip to 11.3gb and 11.4gb
if it continues to download, you have copied to the wrong directory..
