I have no idea what this is, but every now and then when I try to watch a youtube video all I will see is a green square.

I get audio, but there's still a green square for no apparent reason.

I sometimes get that too. It happens after my nvidia drivers crash. Refreshing the page tends to fix.

Update flash player as I vaguely remember I had that a long time ago with a very generic xp build laptop that was stripped of everything. Else try some different drivers for your video card perhaps ?
