AMERICAN 400m Olympic champion LaShawn Merritt received a 21-month ban for an anabolic steroid which his lawyer claimed was contained in an over-the-counter penis enlargement product. The 24-year-old - who is also the world champion at the distance - tested positive three times to dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA). Merritt, who claimed he had started using the product after the 2009 season, first tested positive on October 28, 2009, then on December 8 and finally on January 16 this year. A few things seem weird about this story. Firstly, steroids usually shrink your genitals so I'm not sure why you would take them to make your dick bigger.
