Title: Amazing Youtube channel - trucks crashing into bridge

It's seriously nothing but trucks crashing into a low railway bridge.

for example

He also has a website dedicated to trucks crashing into this bridge.

I'd say he has far too much time on his hands but I do enjoy watching things get destroyed...

you've had an altercation with a bridge? do tell....

my uncle got a cement truck wedged under a railway bridge on the way to Lismore.
He just whacked it in low gear and pushed through to the other side :)

didn't do the bridge any favours though

I'm guessing thats the bridge on montague st (light rail to port melbourne). Thats the one that constantly kills hire moving trucks...

EDIT- this one http://maps.google.com.au/maps?hl=en&ie=UTF8&ll=-37.82965,144.949094&spn=0.001646,0.003484&t=h&z=19&iwloc=near&layer=c&cbll=-37.829579,144.949026&panoid=Dqz0l0gg5H9aIbWbMbGRzw&cbp=12,145.13,,0,5.55

Then there is the bridge near the sth melbourne market that floods everytime there is heavy rain and someone always thinks they can drive their car throught 1m deep water...

oh and that youtube page is pretty damn funny

yes, montague st.

I was taking some gym equipment to a photography studio near there. Anyways, got the directions (from someone who had driven trucks in melb for god knows how many years) and headed off not thinking anything of it.

Turned off the freeway, saw the sign saying low bridge and the height clearance, went to check the sticker indicating the height of the truck,...... no sticker.

"Ahh well, should be good",.... squeezed the loud pedal to bring my speed back up to 80km/h.

BANG!,.. a quick view of the bottom of the brdge, back to normal road view.."WHAT THE FUCK!" look in rear vision,... the roof of the back is on the raod,... "oh shit....."

I pull over and head back to clear the debris,.. dodging the sides of the truck that resemble bannana peels,.. i got back to pick up the roof which has been reduced to approx 1/10th it's original length.

Check the 50,000$ dollars worth of gym gear in the back,.. which has a backwards lean of about 20 deg,... nothing wrong with the gear. "thank fuck,.. now to dish out the bad news"

So anyways,.. after talking to my supervisor, the client and the hire company. i find some rope,.. tie up the sides and continue on my merry way

I personally didn't have to pay a thing. Argueed the fact that the truck didn't have a height indication. But i think the company i was working for at the time chose to pay coz it wasn't worth the hassle of fighting it

There is a lack of emphasis on the obvious in the text quoted above.  Please review and reissue. 8)
