The producers wanted a teenage white boy because they thought it would sell to teenage white girls. Bieber happened to be in the right place in the right time- talent had nothing to do with it, there are people infinitely more talented than him around. With Autotune you don't even need to be able to sing. Bieber will be washed up and burnt out before he's 20 anyway |
