K guys. Ive been thinking of a way thast we can get all players involved in a movie. Heres a general idea, Ill get more specific soon.


Large battles, like really large are shown through WIC or BF2 at a very wide angle. As it gets further detailed we can use BF2 and then CS:S if it reaches a Terrorist point in the movie.

I havent really thought of a storyline, ive had a few rough ideas, like terrorism and such. But nothing rock solid.


Also, amazing that my idea for a Movie board actually hap'd.

id rather something more specific than terrorism. maybe something set in the future (BF2142), with flashbacks to the current day (BF2). like a sci fi thriller.

For A While Now (Ie Back In The nFi Days) I've Been Wanting To make A Bf2 Movie... Maybe.. Along The Lines Of An Intro For All The Members. And I Was Thinking Something Very Similar To The 'Red vs Blue' Into Movie.
Im Not Sayin We Do This One Instead For Your Idea, Cause I Really Like The Idea Of A 'Movie' As Aposed To An 'Intro'.

The intro bit

Yeh ep0, i think we should start off with something liek that.

I was thinking of having some video with the combination of BF2, BF2142 and CSS to the music of La Fortuna. If you don't know what i mean, then go on limewire (lol) and dl it, and then you'll recognize it lol

I was thinking of instead of having a story it could be done like a skate/snowboard video where u splash the players name up then some footage of them in game (rinse and repeat).
You could even add some RL footage if that player wanted to add some?
 
That way each player submits 20-30 seconds of themself gaming.
Each person can pick their own music.

1 person then collates it and wella, you have a DI movie.

We can help each other, but if you dont submit footage you miss out.

can i be the one that gets used whenever we need footage of someone getting killed in the intro one? itll be just like RL... me dieing alot in game.

LoL ZOO I am your BF2 equivelent. I am so prone to dying that If there was 6 of us in a room and I was in the safest corner in the room and a grenage came in the door then I would be the only casualty. True story. May be we can do a combo and call it cannon fodder. A seen there we are both introduces at the same time, half the screen each and we time the deaths to be simultainus. And we could run it to BOOM! again. Or maybe Dead Bodies Everywhere.

EDIT: Oh and we can end it with us eather finaly killing some one else or I could make a mini mod for BF2 with the BF2142 soldiers and weapons, where we run at each other and simultaniously kill each other. Kind of like te State of Origen logo.

i think smiddi's idea is more realistic in terms of what we can put together...........swordy you could use footage from the AEF game when you dove in amongst them and knifed two of them.

ALSO! With The You Two Dying Alot During The Intro.. Maybe Do Something Like:
It Starts With Some Dude Running Or Something... Then BOOM! HEADSHOT! hes dead, and the camera moves so where the bullet came from and intros the first of us... and the next bit is that recently introed player who is now the player running or crawling or hiding or whatever and then he gets shot/blown up. camera then moves to where THAT bullet came from, or just to whoever pulled the trigger.. and his name shows up on the screen while he is now in slowmotion etc etc.... ok heres a list of what i need, if infact i will make this:

A server with bf2 and 2142 servers installed and running.
Access to demos and rcon to record demos.
You nubs to be in the movie

After that its smooth sailing. I have the software needed (FRAPS, vegas, pinnacle[for some effects], sir.community software, etc etc.

Can anyone enlighten me on whether or not this is possible. If we aer going to do it i would prefer we do it properly otherwise it will end up looking shit being recorded from and ingame perspective. I also like multi shot replays XD

Also, does anyone have an internet conenction that could support this? that they have physical access to, or remote so they can install shut.

All GS BF2 10v10 BR files are accessible at this url.....well most...i think it';s servers 20-22

you could just look at the dates the teams have played and downlod via the date.....probably something similar for the 2142 team
