A bit about me:
I've been playing TF2 since the day it came out just about. I'm not a hardcore gamer but I do like scrims and proper gameplay. I used to manage a server for CtP, but its been a long time since I did any rcon work. Previous clans Ctp (fell apart), #rFire (they shifted their focus to BF2 instead of TF2) and Crazybob (who disbanded because mates had a fight). I usually play heavy, in proper scrims and matches (GA/Ozfort) medic is probably my best class.

Bit of background about me, I work in IT, Tech Support Local Govt. I actually work with MrX in the same workplace, we're good mates. Since I've gotten back into TF2 he's been nagging me to put an app into DI.

Why I would like to join: Looking for a bit of fun, getting back into some casual scrims. I've played with a few DI guys (been in a few games lately as well. Played with you fellas last night which was good fun http://img16.imageshack.us/img16/4216/85779656.jpg) and you're all funny bastards and seem like good guys. X is always showing me stuff on the forums at work and sometimes it has us both in tears. I was just reading the District 9 review and its bloody hilarious.

As far as BF2, I used to play a few years ago. Nothing serious, most times I was a Lone Wolf running around Karkand by myself killing people. I racked up a lot of hours of BF2 during the HSC hehe good times.

Then X got me started on TF2.
And I've been a steam/valve boy ever since.

nah nah nah Cam css is heaps betta even tho i play tf2. dw mrx is just messing around x hates tf2 and he plays it he wants* css but cant afford it. i no sad ey soo yea come play css. xD nah up 2 u aye.

The way our TF2 is going at the moment I feel like jumping on the PR Bandwagon. :-). Gotta see if it works on windows 7 first.

Thats the problem with TF2 though, there is a lot of luck involved. One extra crit can make all the difference, especially if it knocks a medic or solly out

Where something like PR/BF2 requires more skill and planning.

I'll install BF2 tonight if I get time. Interested to give PR a go just to see what its like.

Be prepared for a big download.

Yeah, PR is huge... make sure you've got plenty of allowance to spare... or perhaps you could buddy up to Chalice and he could send you a DVD he and Bohica created?

Be sure to clearly state that you want the Project Reality files DVD,.. unless you have a strong stomach, weird fetishes, or a very very good shrink.

P.s. Noraa...you know sending the wrong DVD out was a simple mistake....still it wasn't that bad, just a naughty home movie with me, Norton and an oompa Loompa or two..sheeesh

Damn tried the wrong thing Chal, got the Selleys hole filler instead of Selleys soundproofing. Now I look like a oompa Loompa. I was a bit drunk when i purchased so easy mistake.

Well gaming night went very well.
The Pizza's were good (the chilli was nice but farkin hot!  :PDT_Armataz_01_04:) On X's pizza chilli hotness scale it ranked a 6/10. I'm slowly climbing up the ladder.
