Today has been a long time coming. Finally picked up my new Rifle Tikka Laminate Stainless in .308 Winchester. The scope is a Leupold 4-12x40 VX-R which also has a red-dot. Will be going to the range this weekend and the following out to Stanthorpe to spend the weekend with Budha and the family.. In the field it's awesome. Ordering a .223 tomorrow with a 3-9 X 50 VX-R Scope. Will put that on the .308. then put the 4-12 X40 on the .223. Also have a harris bipod ordered for the .308. While at Bohica's 40th party with Noora on the weekend i shot a Sambar Deer with a .338. Now that was schweet :) |
