Does it really matter that much? Would it hinder your gaming experience that badly being 1080p? Its a laptop they all suck, desktop ftw!

Even at 1440p the gpu would be pumping harder to make things prettier thus producing more heat and straining the system overall, theres only so much high tech shit you can cram into something smaller than a stable table that can play all the latest games flawlessly on the go at a decent price.

My problem is its only 60hz and its fucking over priced lol

1080 is the sweet spot for gaming even on a laptop and even a desktop 1440 and even 4k is very rare right now. will take i would say about 5 years for 4k to become mainstream. which is pretty normal. i mean i have seen engineering firms still use 4:3 monitors

Its way over GPU'd for just 1080p 1440 and it would be nice.

4k wont be rare by the end of this year. Hell I have been running 3x 1980x1200 monitors in surround now for years. Its nearly the same amount of pixels as a 4k. Running on ONE 780

At BP we use dual 4:3 1600x1200 as a default monitor setup. Its great. Better than two 16:9's side by side.

$6299 at PCG. Could buy a hell of a nice water cooled gaming PC, 4K monitor and reasonable laptop for that price.
