Title: Voice Attack for gaming
Post by: Syklone on 23/10/2014, 11:08 AM
Anyone here use VoiceAttack - http://www.voiceattack.com/

After watching youtube videos I am a bit intrigued by it all, especially after watching how it worked in StarCitizen. It gives a great feeling of hands off for doing tasks required. Do have concerns over it when you get into the heat of the moment and you scream instead of talk, thus will it work. And if you have a head cold will it work in your favour or do nothing, or worse, drop a grenade at your feet.

Thoughts? Feedback ?

Downloaded it and its fucking sick makes it so much easier to handle ship functions instead of juggling keyboard buttons and a flight stick

Did you buy it or just testing it on the 21day trial ?

I see its $8 - that's cheaper than some good games. So I assume it adds value to every game you play?

How long did it take to setup Vis?

Hahahaaa that's an awesome line. That's why I am hesitant a bit. I have a Mic and speaker combo, not a headset. So if some one else talks, will Jarvis self destruct me or fire a missile at a friend.

OK will give this a go. Will also see how it goes in PS2 for swapping seats in vehicles and throwing a grenade or something.

Was also thinking for WoT - Not so much for driving and shooting but for saying the ole "Reloading in 8 secs" for others and keeping comms typed in the game.
