Title: Fonts Gone Screwy Post by: bageled on 27/06/2014, 12:15 PM I'm not sure how to google this one.
I just exported a quote from MYOB to pdf, like i always do, and all the fonts that I entered are in italic. Kinda weird, but whatever, not to fussed. Then I open up IE, and google something, and the fonts are all bold, possibly the usual font, I'm not sure, but definetely bold. I've checked old pdfs, and they display fine. I've checked other browsers, chrome is in italics, firefox is in bold. I am without a clue what to do or what has happened. I have spent the morning doing graphic design, I suppose it is possible my design software has updated some font something or other. You sure you don't work in IT support, Z00? ;) Title: Re: Fonts Gone Screwy Post by: Syklone on 28/06/2014, 07:53 AM I take it you restarted? That's me out of ideas. Quick - get this man to a mine field or construction site on a 6 figure salary ASAP. He is worth it :) Title: Re: Fonts Gone Screwy Post by: Z00111111 on 28/06/2014, 07:02 PM I work in construction! You know how when there's a fire in a building, and people don't die? That's what I do! I make it so if you catch on fire in an office, warehouse, or old folks home, your fire will either be suppressed, or controlled.
Title: Re: Fonts Gone Screwy Post by: bageled on 30/06/2014, 10:43 AM I think you might be onto something Bohica. Adobe has some new creative cloud stupidity on my system that I haven't seen before, and all those design programs I never use need to update. So many updates it looks like it will take a week. Once that's done I'll have a look at quicktime.

The Arial font had corrupted, so I navigated to it, opened it in the font explorer and re installed it. Problem fixed. Title: Re: Fonts Gone Screwy Post by: Alucard on 02/09/2014, 03:11 PM ah the old reinstall the font trick...
